I’ve been teaching IB MYP Maths for eight years, working mainly with students in Years 7–10. Algebra and functions are probably my favourite areas to teach, especially when a student has picked up gaps along the way. In lessons I normally start with one worked example, then hand the problem over. I also spend plenty of time on MYP-style investigations and showing students how to explain their reasoning properly.

Hi! I’m an IB MYP English tutor and a bit of a bookworm outside lessons too. I’ve tutored for five years, mostly helping students with literary analysis, essay structure and those awkward moments when they know what they want to say but can’t get it onto the page. I’m quite relaxed in lessons and like discussing a text first before we write anything. I also help with MYP criteria and assessment preparation.

I teach IB MYP Biology and have nine years of experience in secondary science education. My lessons put a lot of emphasis on understanding processes rather than memorising definitions. Genetics and human physiology are particular favourites of mine. I regularly work with students on interpreting unfamiliar data, planning investigations and writing stronger scientific explanations using the MYP assessment criteria.
